Film Scoring

Emmy-winning composer, Roger Cichy, was fortunate to have studied film scoring under Disney’s legendary film composer, Buddy Baker. After completing his first full film score, Roger was awarded a regional Emmy for his film score to “The American St. Nick.” Roger continues to score for films and creates powerful underscoring that enhances the emotional impact of the film.

Wrapping the music to picture

Music cues composed specifically for each portion of the film enlighten the emotions and bring greater impact to the storyline. Roger’s remarkable ability to wrap each music cue to the picture, hitting marks and flowing with the action makes all the difference. Through the use of state-of the-art Eastwest Quantum Leap virtual instruments combined with assorted live musicians, Roger is able to create broad-sounding scores on a limited budget.

The World War II Foundation

The non-profit World War II Foundation honors the legacy of the veterans and survivors of one of history’s most important time periods by producing educational documentary films that air on television networks around the world via American Public Television (each 60 to 90 minutes in length), as well as making them available for free to educators, students and the public. The goal is to preserve these important stories for current and future generations.

The World War II Foundation and Tim Gray Media are currently working on their 25th and 26th WWII films for global television and free watching on this educational website.

Among the Foundation’s other initiatives is the building of an overseas monument recognizing American leadership on D-Day and the World War II Foundation Global Education Center in Rhode Island, where over 3,000 artifacts, 700 books, and a movie theatre help tell the story of World War II to thousands of students each year.
